MIRCO GRASSO
I was born and raised in the province of Venice, not really in an alpine-climbing context... as a child with parents and uncles we went to the mountains for ferratine and hiking but nothing more. Before I approached climbing around the age of twenty, in my free time besides playing basketball, I was increasingly beginning to have a desire(or the need?) to put myself in conditions of "adventure," that is, to find myself in situations that are never taken for granted, where you have to make choices, even trivial ones, but which can change the course of events, in short, mountaineering.. That period could have been choosing one trail in the mountains over another or to traveling by setting off with no definite destinations and letting what happens take you.
